Sunsong Amphipteres are an unusual breed. Due to light interference caused by their magical nature, they don’t seem to be affected by any ambient light source. However, when struck by direct sunlight, they shine a brilliant gold. They are playful and ever in flight; their ethereal and mysterious appearance and the fact that they are usually only seen at a distance have led many to believe they are a symbol of hope and good fortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Because Hades Light is a Sunsong Amphiptere, he is hardly noticed by his clan members and the rare moments when it does happen it happens only from afar. The glimpses they see of him of course are very brief making his clan believe that he was a mirage. He could as well be invisible to them. Because of this Hades Light despises stormy weather, autumn, night and winter. He is often negotiating with grey dragons to change the weather to become extremely sunny. But his temporary invisibility is very handy even though he would have it otherwise. He can't be detected by hunters, predators or other kind of people or dragons that might want to hurt him. While Hades can spy and ambush others easily. He lives in the desert where the bright light can show him at all time. The dragons in the clan that also live in the desert knows he exists. Those dragons however can't convince the other clan members that he really is real, they think that those dragons are just playing tricks with them.
