Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rip is one of HighClan, a group of Gray dragons. A stereotype to his species, he is very easily angered, and often conjures up violent storms as a result. The only one he doesn't get mad at is his mate, Chakra. He has a certain weak spot for her, and is often the reason he gets mad at other people. Other than his usual, stereotypical anger-issues, Rip is very hyper. He often annoys others in his clan and other clans with this, and will fly at top speed high in the sky for hours on end, unintentionally bringing storms along with him. Regardless of his being annoying, he is fairly close to the members of his clan and of other clans. He is rather friendly.
