Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

It amuses Peakflower that there are humans who think her name means she's delicate, or pretty, or any other such fragile, soft word. No. Her name is from a bloom that needs only a small crevice to grow. Given a tiny space in the hardest earth, the Peakflower can dig in its roots, cling to every scrap of sunlight, and burst into a wildflower that seems to burn with the strength of its bright red petals. They coat the mountain ranges in the spring, seeds flying on the highest winds, seeking to grow in places ever closer to the sky.

Peakflower has learned many lessons from her namesake. She's an old dragon, old enough to remember the Weyr before the Weyr of Flame. She survived the War and established herself as an old and powerful leader of her Clan of Green dragons, keeping their Earthquakes in check and manageable.

But it's been many centuries, and Peakflower believes the time is right for new heights. New seeds. She is ready to shake off the old dust and begin to shake the earth again.
