Gold-horned Tangars are a brightly colored tropical breed. They are primarily herbivores, and eat a wide variety of fruits and flowers in addition to the occasional bird. Tangars are well suited to life in the trees; their slender bodies make them light enough to be supported by thinner branches and agile enough to avoid obstacles while flying. Their brightly colored horns, found in both males and females, are used to attract mates.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The flashy, charismatic current Alpha of the Szpon clan, Tylko has due cause for arrogance. The Szpon clan are a Southern Clan traditionally, steeped in wealth and near unimaginable power. Their platinum-coated lineage made them one of the more influential clans in the area, ruling over human and dragon alike.

However Tylko is young and new to the throne and his ascension was coupled with grievous disaster. The Creorluna clan attacked and slew much of the royal family. There was a lot of disarray and chaos before Tylko, the seventh son of the old Alphas, rose to power.

Despite his clan's depleted state, Tylko is a ruthless, shrewd leader. He's cunning and knows how to put the power he has to good use. However he also has a vengeful streak and as such harbors a deep-seeded hatred for Creorluna...in particular Izdati. He would do anything; even lead his kin to their deaths if it meant he had a shot at Izdati. For his vengeance he would destroy all that once held value in his heart.
