Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Arkkane had one mission and one mission alone. The last thing he remembered his parents telling him before they disappeared is that he had to travel to a mountain of three peaks. One peak would be black as night and charred with ash. The second would be glacial, blue as the sea and cold as its depths. The third would be highest and give a strange energy. If he reached the top of the charred peak by the time the blue moons crossed something special was supposed to happen.

Arkkane as an individual is a brave, cunning dragon with a heart full of courage and confidence. He strives to be the strongest of all and prove that a dragon doesn't need wings to be incredible.
