As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

DarkNightGlory is a feisty Night Glory Drake. He's bold for a dragon of his species, as bold as a Night Glory can be. He has human friends that he visits with every once in a while, at night of course. DarkNightGlory also has a bat friend, who is a little smaller than he is. Her name is Chiroptera, which is the scientific name for the order of bats. Together they like to race or sometimes they like to just fly and watch the stars.
