Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

The tale of how Nuuu Why Did I Freeze You got its weird name is rather interesting. It all started when its current owner found it abandoned in the woods as a newly hatched dragon. Soon after, the then unnamed hatchling's owner came across another dragon tamer with a rare type of Black dragon they were giving away. Nuuu's owner desperately wanted this dragon. The only thing was that several others wanted it as well, and the owner of the dragon would only give it to someone with less than ten growing hatchlings at the time. Nuuu's owner had more than that, so they took desperate measures to try to get the special dragon. They used a spell to stop Nuuu's growth, permanently making it a non-growing hatchling. Its owner later greatly regretted this, as they were too late to get the dragon, anyway. They yelled out "No! Why did I freeze you" to Nuuu. "I should have known better!". The first part of the phrase somehow stuck, and this "frozen" hatchling has been known as that ever since.
