Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Young Blue is a dragon descended from proud dragons. The dragon himself is full of pride and does not go along well with other dragons, even those of his own breed. He only shows his cute side when he is alone with his caretaker, softly cooing and nuzzling the human several times. In the presence of other humans and dragons, however, Young Blue would stand with his head held high, spreading his wings wide open towards those that dare to challenge him.

The scroll-bearer gave the dragon his name for their common interest in blue colors. The latter hoards treasures that have any amount of blue on them. He would even exchange treasures with other dragons just to fill his cave with more shiny, blue stuff. He will take every opportunity available to bring the scroll-bearer to his cave just to display his prized hoard of blue things.
