Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

It was stupid and pointless, she knew...But Slow Cheetah could not help herself, before she knew it she had fallen for Warm Tape, even if she was a Sunrise dragon.

Their differing natures meant that she could only be with her beloved for the brief time before Warm Tape retired for the day, when Slow Cheetah was still rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.

Unlike her more positive lover Slow Cheetah despairs that their time together is so brief, the night through she agonizes that she is forced to be without her. She even tries to wake up as early as she can, just to extend the time with her sweet Warm Tape, even though it means she not only defies her own nature, but also loses precious sleep.

Her hunting has suffered because this, but some would say that her slightly wasted appearance rather fits the picture of a lonely dragon in love.
