Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

A quiet, protective hulk of a dragon, this one is remarkably calm, tolerating screaming children and burst gaskets with equal patience. Because of this serenity, he wanders out of the ancient factory his family calls home far more often than the others, observing the sunset and helping out any poor, troubled person he encounters during his long walks. Due to this kindness, the people have stopped fearing him and even grown to feel affection for him, although they still refuse to set foot anywhere near the 'haunted' factory. But Gui'lo is perfectly fine with this, as it allows him to have a nice, calm place to retreat to--and besides, the silly little creatures would probably damage the steamworks or over-excite his sister.
