Flamingo Wyverns are so named for their resemblance to the tropical birds with whom they often share territory. Their most striking feature is the bony black crest over their faces and snouts, larger in males, aiding both in digging up food and protection when fighting for mates. Males are duller in color than females due to their habit of wandering from nest to nest and picking from less algae-rich feeding grounds.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Mr Flamingo, despite having a temper the size of a mountain, is essentially a ditz.  It's quite a feat that he's managed to stay the Alpha of the Flamingo Flock for so long, but seeing his abnormally large size and glaringly vibrant colours leaves little to suggestion as to why no male is brave enough to challenge him.  He is a grumpy and sarcastic individual, always finding something to complain about.  He is, however, devoted to his Flock and would never compromise them.

Mr Flamingo is one of the few males that never leaves the females; he takes it upon himself to protect them, and defend them from any vagabond males that try to woo one away from the Flock.  He does this with great joy, as one of his many reasons to grumble include having 'no grown males around for a good rip-roaring spar'.  His mate, Fuschia Flamingo, tends to take this as a cue to cuff him 'round the head with her tail to shut him up.

Mr Flamingo has a pet pink flamingo, called Sir Whatsit.
