Mint colored dragons are the most peaceful of all dragons; they only eat plants unless they scavenge meat from an already dead animal. They also have no ways to attack others or defend themselves. They are much smaller than other forms of dragons since they only double in size when they mature. Mint dragons are unable to use magic and cannot fly since they lack wings. Their looks have given rise to the common insult of calling dragons “large lizards.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Basilgarrad has never fit in anywhere. Too big to be a common lizard, too small to be a proper dragon in most's minds, he has always been the odd one out, the freak. No one accepts him, always shunning him for being different.

One night Basilgarrad had a horrible dream, of a Tinsel with golden scales dying at the mercy of a murderous Vampire. He knew he was too small to help, but he went to find the dream Tinsel anyways in some desperate hope he might save his life.

The Tinsel was Emryss Merlin, who had been perused for days by the evil Vampire Rita Gawr in her plan to make sure he never returned home. Basilgarrad did the only thing a dragon of his size could do-- he leapt at Rita Gawr and bit down on her tongue, allowing Emryss Merlin to knock the Vampire unconscious. The two escaped, and later became good friends despite Basilgarrad's differences. "After all," as the gold Tinsel often tells his friend, "it's not about how big you are, but rather how brave. You've already proven that."
