Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Midzetath is the younger daughter of Midnitath, the Weyr Leader. While Mirozidath serves as the proud princess and heiress of the Weyr, Midzetath lives a rather humble life. She is still considered a princess but is not THE princess, tending to stick to herself while she perfects her skills. She is an extremely talented huntress though is extremely humble and soft-spoken, so you'd never hear her boasting.

She is quite distanced from her father and this has brought her to befriending Lucian Evolos, the Vampire Lord. It even brought them to become lovers, and she donates her eggs (which are fertilized with the help of her friend Lil' Orphan) to her husband Lucian to turn.

Midzetath is especially proud of Lucina, their first daughter to be submitted to Lucian. The two are very close despite the different castes they belong to.
