When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Some people look at an animal, and see an animal. Nothing more detailed, or complex. Some people look at a predator and see a vicious killer, not even bothering to look again to see just an animal. They glance and judge. It's obvious, after a second look, that their first was wrong. The long snaky coils of a water dragon appear as just that. A giant water snake. A second glance shows the beauty they missed. The graceful movements, the elegant position they hold, the sheer beauty of their hunting prowess. And though many will judge, not all will. Frothing Waves, named after the sea tide that laps at the beach, leaving foam on the shore, was one of those dragons. He did not judge at first glance, nor second. He asked a creature about themselves before coming to any conclusions. Sometimes though, the creature would be frightened off by enormity of him, and he would shrug and go off on his own business again, no conclusion reached.
