Hellfire Wyverns are so named for their foul tempers and fiery visages. Their social structure places all females above all males, due to superior physical characteristics and violent dispositions. Forced subservience of the males causes them to become vicious, petty, antisocial, and passive-aggressive compared to the aggressive and social females. However, orphaned hatchlings raised by foster parents of another species can develop surprisingly even tempers and mellow dispositions, proving that their defining unpleasant nature is, in fact, a learned behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Gingherdia is a very beautiful dragon who loves to flaunt her power. She is held in check by her cave-mates, whom she pretends to ignore. She is, however, very observant and compassionate. This is best shown through her relationship with Kackle, who is somewhat of an outcast. Her greatest fault is that she complains. One particularly expressive day, she was talking to Trial (a frozen Ember hatchling) who had learned a new word, Girn. Seeing her grimace as she remembered the incident, he cried out her nickname. Once the word was understood, it stuck.

Kackle is one of the few dragons who can lift her mood, and he does so on a regular basis. She appreciates this greatly, and does her best to return the favor by protecting him from the other Hellfire females. She prefers to spend her days in the cave, allowing Kackle the pleasure of the hunt while she lays about in the cave, occasionally participating in the little dramas that make her life interesting.
