Frostbite Dragons first appear at the beginning of winter, creeping in with the frosts. They have found their place in human lore as the spirits of snow, since they only reveal themselves during icy weather. In the depths of winter, they cover the world in blankets of snow and are believed to be responsible for the glittering frost that creeps over everything. Although they appear cold and distant, they are actually rather mischievous and enjoy spending time dancing through blizzards.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Where the Frostbites originate from no one knows for sure; they suddenly appeared among the mountains of Alba. The highly territorial Ice and Winter clan already occupying the peaks did not appreciate their arrival, but whenever they sought to give chase their claws would close on nothing but snow, the Frostbite itself vanishing before their eyes. Amadan delights in these little games of hide and seek. Disguised as a glacier he will loose an avalanche on any of them passing underneath, laughing uncontrollably as he watches them trying to free themselves of their thick snowy blanket. Sometimes he casually strolls into their home as if it was the most usual thing in the world before disappearing in a gust of snowy wind as they try to pounce on him. He will peck at the tails of passing Ices then turn invisible to their angry eyes. Not that he is always fast enough to avoid their claws, but he has so far sustained no serious injuries and has no intention of giving up his foolish delights.
