Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

While none of the dragons in the clan think of themselves as pets, there is nonetheless something feral about Zellmeyer and his mate Usas. For a long time they have terrorized many of the local villages despite being smaller then many of the other dragons in the family. Their superior speed and long tails makes them difficult opponents.

When Zellmeyer and his mate visit a town or village, their arrival is greeted by the slamming of doors and the closing of windows. No one dares venture outside while they are on the prowl, as they have been known to attack humans without warning. Even if they do not devour their victim, they usually leave him or her unrecognisable due to the bites, claws marks and the lashings from long tails.

The only human they have not attacked is the cave mistress, whom they both adore. When they hear her calling they will race away from their hunt to greet her, racing to be the first one to get a hug.
