Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Born a mute, Halo was so named for the rings of smoke he would exhale in an attempt to express his mood to others. Due to his inability to growl, roar, or even communicate telepathically, Halo became very reserved and secretive, preferring to keep to himself. Ever since hatchling he has possessed a deep fascination with plants and flowers, and has devoted much of his life to collecting and tending to his vast gardens of rare and exotic flowers. Extremely withdrawn and bashful, Halo shies away from the contact of humans and even his own kind, preferring to spend his days with his expansive gardens of flowers, whom share his silence.
