Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its eyes glow brightly at night, and it enjoys attacking insects and small animals.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Tiny Black Dusk is of questionable pedigree, according to many of its fellow dragons.  This might explain why it remains a hatchling.  Thankfully, Tiny Black Dusk is not alone in its plight.  It enjoys playing pranks on the adult dragons and then fleeing from the scene of said pranks while laughing maniacally.  The adults are not sure what to think of it since it rarely speaks and when it does, the words that come out make absolutely no sense.  It is usually under the watchful eye of the eldest hatchling to make sure it does not cause too much trouble in the cave.
