Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Swirth is a Green dragon that started out with a bit of a temper. As a hatchling, he stayed away from the other dragons, only accepting food and attention from his owner. As an adult he generally stays in his corner of the cave and stays alone. He changed a bit when his adopted son, Cal Lilly, hatched, and began to venture outside with other dragons, as long as Cal was with him. Even so, he prefers to be alone with Cal more than any other dragons.
