And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Bajee is the most cheerful dragon of the cave: she loves to sing merrily, dance happily, and you never catch her in a bad mood. Although just a hatchling (a frozen one at that) she likes to help take care of the dragon eggs. She is often seen with Hyara the hero, also a pink dragon, but a mature one, talking as they take turns incubating an egg. When not eating, incubating or sleeping, she is most likely out playing with the other frozen hatchlings.
