As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.
Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.
User Description
Most deem Night Glory drakes an extremely beautiful and exotic breed. A human commonly referred to the beloved child of dragons had gone on a night expedition to discover nocturnal breeds of dragons. The young girl came across the beautiful Night Glory, whom had fearlessly faced the human, introducing himself as Ke-Kilakila-'Ope'ape'a; the glorious bat. Many like to call him Kila for short. Kila didn't speak much and loved to slumber in the shade of trees during the day because it relaxes him so, but he is completely vulnerable to the bigger and more vicious dragons. He decided to join the dragon-child's family at the cave, where he basked in the secured ambiance of his new family. Kila slowly became more comfortable and talkative with the other dragons and had been able to call them his own family.
