Script Dragons are named for the markings along their wings and sides that look almost like calligraphy. The patterns correspond to no known language, and are slightly different on every dragon. These dragons only develop the characteristic markings when they reach maturity, and they are fairly capable with magic once the patterns appear.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Gibosk claims to have genuine Roaring Lion Productions merchandise for a fraction of the official cost. Everything she offers is, of course, a forgery, and usually not a very good one. She also tries to sell stories to Roaring Lion Productions for adaptation into plays, but as she's not the most imaginative dragon, all of her stories are clumsy plagiarizations of far better works and never make it out of the slush pile.
