Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

No one is sure what happened to Gaia 1 through 8, but most are sure that it wasn't pretty. Gaia is cruel and violent. She is the meanest dragon on Tropic Island. She likes to torment hatchlings and scare the adult dragons. One of her favorite things to do is to hide in a bush and wait for another dragon to pass by and then jump out and stare them. She is bigger than most of the dragons that live on the island so it is easy for her to bully them. Only the family of Terrae has the strength to bring down the Pebble but, so far, they have ignored her. They are the only dragons safe from Gaia.
