Royal Crimson Dragons are so named due to their massive size and confident, regal bearing. Most of the time they are laid back, ignoring non-prey creatures smaller than themselves, although they will occasionally take fresh kills from other dragons as a reminder of their place in the social order. Although there are few other dragons large enough to pose a threat to Royal Crimsons, they have little tolerance for potential rivals and will fiercely defend their territory from such intruders.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Jashypoo won Gaowi from a card game. He hatched while she was visiting a soothsayer due to visions she was having. Visions that had been plaguing her for many years. The young hatchling became obsessed with flying once he grew wings. He was so excited that the strange human had to stop traveling. When he broke a wing one day, he became obsessed with healing. He never wanted to be without the ability to fly.

Gaowi eventually left Jashypoo's side since she said to be a true dragon he had to live on his own. Through the years he perfected his healing abilities so that he could form a business. It was a traveling one so dragons had to seek him out.

Many years after Gaowi left Jashypoo's side, she returned to him with an offer to join a clan. A clan that would be one of the most important in her ever growing army.

Gaowi is a Healer Hound in the Hounds of the Wastelands clan.
