Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Dreamspiral was a lonely dragon always sighing in the corner of a cave thinking about his life. He always thought if he always brought happiness to humans why couldn't he bring happiness to himself Dreamspiral chose not to be by his cavemates 'cause he wanted to be alone most of the time but he still thought of love. He wanted to be loved by someone. Then one day when Dreamspiral was in his corner as usual he felt a presence behind him. He was wanted to be alone so he quickly turned around to shoo whoever it was away but stopped when he saw another Daydream dragon like himself. Her name was Dreamcolor and he knew it was love at first sight. They chatted and soon became mates. Dreamspiral then became friendlier every day even though it was hard for him he knew he would always be happy as long as Dreamcolor was there.
