Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

CH33S3 was brought into the world when a wizard got bored of the same old cheese he had been buying, and the same old dragons he had been capturing and hatching, and decided to make his own dragon... Out of cheese.
After the experiment went wrong, CH33S3 was thrown out of a window as a soft cheesy egg.
CH33S3 is a very friendly outgoing cheese dragon, but if it catches one's stomach growling its immediate response is to shy away and hide or attack to avoid being eaten.
