Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Nocturne Dragons are a strange breed. Whenever light strikes their bodies, they are frozen in whatever position they were in. This leaves them vulnerable and they rely on camouflage to keep themselves safe. They are often mistaken for statues when in this frozen state, but Nocturne dragons do not actually turn into stone. Rather, they merely idle until the sun goes down. At night, these dragons come to life, proving themselves to be powerful fliers, although little else is known about their true behavior.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Garixi had never planned to return permanently to Dragontown after she was old enough to set out on her own. She had nothing against her hatchlinghood home and wasn't averse to visiting, but the world was large and she wanted to see as much of it as possible. No matter how many places she visited, though, none lived up to Dragontown with its eclectic mix of dragons and people living (mostly) in harmony, so she finally returned home. Though Garixi still sometimes hires herself out as a nighttime bodyguard for some traveling group or another and helps with the Dragonhaven Island exchange program, she spends most of her time in Dragontown. When not on guard duty, she keeps an eye on her younger brother—the snappish toe-biter, not the responsible one.
