Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

From the moment he reached breeding age, Frost Glazer has made every effort into creating a snow pattern that would successfully impress a potential mate. But no matter how hard he tried, his patterns never seemed to gain any attention. On the rare occasion a female dragon would actually take the time to look, she would always dismiss it. One even commented that Frost Glazer had no focus, accusing him of just making random designs in the snow. Frost Glazer eventually came to the conclusion that he simply had no artistic talent like the rest of his kind. Just when he was giving up hope, Firn Flurry happened to observe his efforts and suggested that he simply try a different medium than snow, directing him to the ice-covered ponds. Her idea proved to be successful, as Frost Glazer began making designs in the ice that resembled the frost on window panes. However, once he discovered his true talent, Frost Glazer stopped caring about finding a mate, deciding to focus on his art instead.
