It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

In her part of the world, where dragon and human lives had so strongly intertwined, heritage was everything. It was the nobles who lived among the people, as leaders, politicians, scholars and healers, working together with mortals to guide both races to glory. And it was those of poor birth who lived unhappy lives on the fringes of society, viewed as barely more than dull beasts, doomed to scrape in the wild all their lives for sustenance. She was of such low birth, and she hated the fate that had been given her, always looking to the sky and dreaming of a life in the spotlight. And, in a stroke of luck and mercy, she got it.

It was the Cirque de Pourpre that took her in, a circus of broken souls made for an audience of broken souls. There she was trained as a trapeze artist, and she found a freedom and peace among the high bars that no stuffy noble life could ever have granted her. And, more than that, she found love, falling into the tender embrace of fellow trapeze artist Akhoz.
