Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

To keep audiences entertained while full-length plays are being set up, Roaring Lion Productions offers a variety of short-form serials. One of the most popular involves the adventures of the heroic Nightshade, his two sidekicks, and a whole rogue's gallery of villains. With over-the-top plots, improbable cliffhangers, and the most incompetent peacekeepers to ever walk Galsreim, the serials are incredibly ridiculous, but that's part of their charm.

Guorl plays Nightshade's second sidekick, the resourceful Twilight. Her true identity—the niece of the head peacekeeper—was for a time a secret even from Nightshade, supposedly known for his mystery-solving abilities. As assistant librarian in the weyr's library, she often has the vital piece of information needed to stop that installment's villain. Guorl saves her co-stars far more often than they save her (to Dulom's particular chagrin) and is popular enough that she might get her own serial.
