Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The North side of the valley called the 'Draco Sancte' is always full of flowering red poinsettas and cheer seems to float in the very air. Who is responsible for this Cheerheart is! He grew up in the Draco Sancte a while ago, and settled in the North side. He, being a Christmas creature, a Yulebuck acctualy, naturally spreads cheer and peace. That is why most of the more mellow, and kind dragons live on the North side. He enjoys his life and most enjoys teaching hatchlings to fly, he is the adopted uncle of nearly all the hatchlings and young dragons on the North side. He can be heard humming happy songs while trotting in the forests.
