Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Sher isn't as vicious as his father, retaining the more laid back nature of a hatchling. He doesn't attack everyone he sees, but is very reserved. He enjoys sitting in a well-lit area and playing around with his vines. He especially likes to form complex structures and the like with them, sprouting flowers as needed for decoration. He won't get old, another frozen hatchling in the cave.
