Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!

It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
Before her egg was even laid, her mother the Queen was very sick. One of the Whites in her parent's kingdom used a new variety of healing magic on the Queen, and somehow some of it was passed onto her first offspring, the Princess. As a very young hatchling, she was kidnapped by an evil Hellfire witch, who selfishly used the Princess' healing magic only for herself. The Princess grew to a young adult believing that the witch was her real mother, and was never allowed to leave the cave in which she was being kept. However, on one of the rare occasions that the Hellfire left the Princess unguarded, a young, rouge Whiptail took shelter from the law in her cave, and the Princess decided to escape with him to see the world. Unfortunately, the witch caught up to them and nearly killed the handsome thief. The Princess used the last of her magic to heal him and banish the witch. The Princess was soon reunited with her real parents, and she and the Whiptail lived together happily ever after.
