Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Born in a time of great sorrow, a young dragon looked at a dark world and decided to be a light. But he was only one very little dragon, and could not do much alone.

So he decided to ask others to help.

It was a curious way he asked. He requested not the moving of mountains or great deeds, but little things that often benefited the doer just as much as those around them.

Choose forgiveness. Smell lilies. Find wonder in rainstorms.

Be kind to yourself. Follow your dreams, one step at a time.

And those little seeds of light grew, and grew, and grew.

Now an adult, Cheer smiles upon every day knowing the world is a gentler place than it was at his birth. The great storm has long passed. He knows, too, that another storm may come.

But it's alright. If it does, he and many others like him will usher it away.
