Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sagarmathi is usually called Saga for short. She is fascinated with travel and navigation, and is very good at telling where she is by the stars and sun. Saga even found an old compass once, and carries it with her everywhere. Saga is great to have on expeditions and trips, because she'll never get lost- or, at least not too lost.

Saga's greatest wish is to someday learn how to work a pen, because she wants to be a cartographer. Even though that's not too likely to ever happen she keeps her hopes up. Saga is quite good at mapping and knows the area around the cave like no one else. She spends her free time drawing maps with her paws in the sand, and is getting better and better at it.
