Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Martlet is, in a word, insane. Rumors of the vampires killing other hatchlings were what began her downward slide, for there were two of those cold stone eggs in the same nest as her own child. She tried to take the eggs and abandon them multiple times, but was eventually found trying smash them while screaming about how they kept coming back. Even after both the vampire Twins and her silver son had grown up, she did not return to sanity. She tried to kill an egg and blame it on the Twins, subsequently traumatizing the resultant forced hatchling for life, and eventually drove the cave into all-out warfare until her deranged scheme was revealed. Since then, she has spent most of her days chained deep within the cave, visited only by the Whites and her family.
