Striped Dragons come in a dazzling array of colors complemented by an intricate pattern of stripes. These bright colors and patterns help attract their favorite food, insects. Because their prey is so tiny, striped dragons must spend a large portion of their day eating. The color of the offspring is usually determined by the dragon’s mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Bleuaw is a very talented swimmer. She is as agile as a Seal when she swims, and loves nothing better than to show of to her friends and visiting dragons. She can turn on a dime in the water and can dive to great depths. Bleuaw has even made friends with the local sea monster at the bottom of a very deep chasm. In contrast, she is very clumsy in the air, constantly losing her rhythm and dropping a few meters before being able to right herself. Bleuaw doesn't mind this though, as she is more than happy with her swimming abilities. The Striped Dragon is very playful and rambunctious, but she has a darker side that will surface if she is angered or if someone does something she doesn't like. Everyone knows to stay away from here when she is in one of her black moods, as the last person who did so was incinerated by Bleuaw's bright blue flames.
