Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It likes to play in small piles of sand.

And look! Its wings have grown larger! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

She is 2nd Generation.

Frozen in a permanent state of youth, adult dragons never take her seriously. It's rumoured she found the fountain of youth and fell in—she refuses to tell anyone else where it is, considering an eternal state of yearling unbearable and not wishing to inflict the pain on another.
