Golden Wyverns are known for their beautiful metallic scales and rumored magical abilities. Living high in the mountains, these dragons do not believe in killing for sport or pleasure. They will hunt only when hungry and defend themselves when provoked, but will avoid killing to the best of their abilities. Golden Wyverns often mingle with other dragons of similar color and take pride in their shimmering hide.

Gold that Hides Unseen has quite a long name so everyone calls him Gold. He was found in a volcano by Lightning that Lights the Sky. His egg had burned and looked almost dead but Lightning sensed the small heartbeat within the little dragon egg. She picked the golden egg up and carried it back to the cave. They had to watch the egg day and night to make sure it didn't die. On the seventh day it hatched. Gold was an extremely small dragon, around half the size of a normal Golden Wyvern hatchling. Lightning and the others were concerned at first but that soon disappeared when he became fully grown. Gold ended up being larger than all of them. He was a born fighter. Only Shadow that can't be Caught rivals his skills. Gold's mate is Star that Shines like Ice. They are very happy together and have many children. Gold was the fifteenth dragon to be accepted into the cave.
