Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pyrrha's territory straddles Haumea's, and because of this she is the first point of call when Pyrrha feels the urge to breed. She is not always receptive to his presence however, and will try to pick fights with him rather than return his affections. Pyrrha has learned that Haumea will pay more attention to him when he gives her food, but more often than not she eats and then either acts aggressively towards him or demands more food. Haumea is terribly lazy and prefers to have others do the hunting, and with Pyrrha and Donner around, she knows she doesn't need to. But most of the time Pyrrha cannot be bothered wasting his time with these games and will simply leave to find females elsewhere. Haumea may be his first choice out of convenience, but she is not necessarily the ONLY choice. The Dragon World is a big place, after all.
