Sunrise Dragons are closely related to sunset dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunrise Dragons prefer to live in large groups and enjoy basking in the early morning sun. They are usually most active in the morning, and go to sleep in the early evening.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sunrises are Solare's favorite. Well that's not too odd considering he IS a sunrise dragon. But it is a bit strange when the rest of his family are all sunset dragons. He is very quiet and doesn't like to move around much. But Solare is always up at the crack of dawn watching the sun slowly climb above the sky. Musoka likes to tell the hatchlings that Solare helps the sun rise, if he didn't watch it the sun wouldn't be able to come up.
