Waterhorse Dragons received their name due to their horse-like physique and endearing behavior. They are capable of surviving out of water, and when on land their skin secretes a gelatinous goo to retain moisture. However, their large paddle feet are better suited for swimming, and waterhorse dragons tend to move very awkwardly when on land. Waterhorses are very friendly dragons and enjoy playing with humans.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Behold, seeker of the dragon lore, Bathyphilia of the Waterhorse Dragons. Although he is a friendly enough creature, like all of his breed, he also can be rather wild at times. This is not aggressive behaviour by any means—it rather seems an expression of exhilaration, a mood which sizes him in particular in rainy weather. He then even comes out of the water for longer periods and frolics through the fields around the pond he lives in, prancing and rearing—and neighing rather shrilly. While doing this, he does not exactly look impressive but more like a somewhat clumsy foal. When in the pond, he is rather elegant to watch, although he loves to play tricks on humans with fishing rods.

After chasing her former mate away, he has become the mate of Ixill, another Waterhorse dragon.
