Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rae loves to collect gems. Actually, she loves to hoard them. She has a bit of a problem with this, as it has kind of gotten out of control--her entire cave, which used to be pristine with only a few gems here and there, now looks like space exploded inside of it. Maelstrom, the only dragon who can put up with Rae's love for gems, is always trying to get her to get rid of some, usually by asking her to give him some for his inventions.

Space can often be found in Rae's cave, staring at the gemstones and screeching "OH MY GODS, OH MY GODS, OH MY GODS--I'M IN SPACE!!" to the utter annoyance of Rick. The Dusk usually groans and walks over to Space, telling him that he is NOT in space and that he wouldn't want to GO to space anyway. "There's nothing IN space. That's why it's SPACE."

Rae, apparently, doesn't mind if other dragons come into her cave--unless, of course, they try to take something. Then she will freak out on them and start acting like a huge, scaly, blue, annoying cat.
