Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of different types of mana, making them powerful magic users. Chronos are often considered to be the most elusive of all Xenowyrm subspecies: they live in the darkest and densest forests, far from civilization. They are masters of time magic, allowing them to manipulate the flow of time at will. It is said that Chrono lairs are protected by a field of magic that makes the minutes tick by at a slow pace for any unwanted visitors.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Globnar is little more than a legend to most, a name whispered as warning to travelers. It is their own folly if they choose not to heed them. All who stumble across Globnar's lair are challenged to a sort of game, which often seems easy. But his players soon learn never to play at a game with rules written by a dragon in control of time itself. No two rounds are exactly the same, but they usually involve brutal combat with some monster plucked out of time. If his players can manage to beat all of his challenges, they are told they will leave with their freedom and the promise of one use of Globnar's time magic for their own gain. However all of those who have "won" his game have found themselves facing Globnar himself. Their fates vary -- sometimes they are frozen in a single moment and arranged as statues, other times they are sent beyond the time of Valekmare herself -- but either way, the only players who actually win are those who decide not to play at all.
