Hellfire Wyverns are so named for their foul tempers and fiery visages. Their social structure places all females above all males, due to superior physical characteristics and violent dispositions. Forced subservience of the males causes them to become vicious, petty, antisocial, and passive-aggressive compared to the aggressive and social females. However, orphaned hatchlings raised by foster parents of another species can develop surprisingly even tempers and mellow dispositions, proving that their defining unpleasant nature is, in fact, a learned behavior.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
Rhaegar usually travels together with his three brothers—Rhaegal, Rhaegur, and Rhaeghas. Being a Hellfire Wyvern, he has a vicious temper, so he leads a rogue life. Even though all four dragons are fiery by nature, it is said that Rhaegar is the fiercest of them all and the one who initiates the attacks on the local human communities and their livestock. He holds humans in contempt because he feels that they are invading the lands of his ancestors. He would never admit it, not even to himself, but he holds a grudging admiration of the adaptability and creativity of humans despite their physical weakness, small size and short lives, and that makes him hate them even more.
However, Rhaegar has an unexpected side to his personality. In contrast to most dragons, he only has one mate—the Lady Godiva, a lovely Moonstone dragoness—and he is extremely devoted and loyal to her. Rhaegar is also fiercely proud and protective of his family, he would rather die than see any of them harmed.
