Thunder Dragons are the masters of electricity. Their wings gather energy as they soar through the clouds, and when they clap their wings together they can create devastating arcs of lightning. They can stay airborne nearly indefinitely, landing only to sleep and breed; they catch their prey from the air and take moisture from the clouds. A thunder dragon’s roar is considered to be an omen of misfortune.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Ciadarra's voice is absolutely nothing like the growling and squealing you might hear from normal dragon species. The Thunder dragon spends her time in the clouds, swooping down from the heavens in a multitude of blinding bolts of lightning to effectively stun and single out unfortunate dragons and airborne prey animals. Ciadarra's speech erupts from her maw in the form of loud crackling and deafening rumbles; therefore, she seldom speaks. This female prefers to hunt in the dark of the night and typically when it rains; she slips into the shadows and strikes when she is able to, in the cover of a storm.

Electricity crackles around her form nearly all the time and other dragons become physically repulsed by such an aura. As a result, Ciadarra is sometimes a bit lonely but is rarely seen during the year unless nature requires her aid. This is when she comes down to earth to restore the peace, and returns back to the skies in flashes of white and yellow.
