When Water Dragons mature, they lose the ability to survive on land, entering the water permanently. They are adept swimmers and eat whatever fish are in the lake they live in. They tend to inhabit the same lake for their entire lives, although a few live in the ocean and swim all over the world.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

In the depths of the ocean, Riegue Caballo, the Water Horse was born. Named for his grace, the Water Horse soon came to be called Reggie. His egg, minuscule compared to his siblings, was quickly abandoned to die. After floating to the surface of his first home, Reggie's egg was discovered by Equizotic. Caring for him until his hatching bore an attachment neither dragon or human could ignore. They found it almost impossible to separate when the time came for Reggie to fend on his own. Struck with conflict, Reggie knew he could not leave his caretaker and yet find a mate and live like a dragon. Nonetheless, he stood by his Quizo, protecting, serving, ever thankful for the life he has and the second chance she gave him. Equizotic will forever cherish her first dragon, her Reggie, her Water Horse.
