White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Peregrynne adopts any orphaned dragon she comes across, regardless of age or species. All sorts of dragons, from newly-hatched nilias to grown coppers with grandchildren to half-feral vampires, have come to view her as an important parental figure. She might not have raised them from an egg, but they still all know that she's Galsreim's best mom.
