Stone Dragons have a tough outer covering made of a stone-like material. They eat rocks, using the minerals they contain for nourishment and to keep up their stone outer shell. They rarely move, and are the heaviest of all types of dragons. Although they have wings, indicating flight ability, no one has ever seen a stone dragon flying.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

At first glance there is just a boulder. But it's highly unusual for a boulder of any kind to possess a pair of red eyes, isn't it... Suddenly the rock uncurls and reveals Zemathou, Phoenix's stone dragon.

Zemathou often enjoys playing the same trick as described above on men and beasts alike. This also is an advantage to catching food for him. Zemathou's former mate is Fernpelt, a vine dragon. Unfortunately, they are no longer together; when they had their first stone egg many years ago, Phoenix couldn't take care of it and was forced to leave it at the home cave. An unknown keeper stole into the cave, took the egg, and destroyed it. After this tragedy, Fernpelt left Zemathou, taking it at a sign of bad luck. Zemathou is single now, and likely will be that way for a long time to come.
